Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Training Supervisor at our NGM Process Training Mine. The successful candidate will engage with several key internal and external stakeholders to initiate and support safe and responsible mining operations.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the direct supervision, mentoring and coaching of trainees. Possess a strong application of leadership to execute the training plan, mine plan and improve performance by leading the team to deliver safe, environmentally sound,and efficient gold production. Collaboratively engage with several key stakeholders to reach objectives. Communicate,coach, and assist in the field to ensure expectations are understood and met. Develop training courses and determine instructional methods such as individual training,group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, meetings, and workshops. Audit and review training courses, materials, and programs for continuous improvement. Lead the implementation of Competency Based Training across all NGM properties and the continuous improvement thereafter. Assist in the standardization of site procedures, guidelines, and planned task observations within respective division while collaborating with other divisional and NGM site representatives. Schedule and conduct observations, assessments, and evaluations to verify competency. Assist in the tracking of task training and planned task observations. Maintain document control and management. Maintain training records with associated supporting documentation in compliance with site repository directives. Assist in the planning and scheduling of Annual Refresher Training for all employees. Facilitate new miner,experienced miner, hazard,site and task specific training courses as needed. Ensure safe and efficient operations through coaching and compliance to the company’s Integrated Management System and local regulations. Maintain regulatory compliance and assist in developing solutions to regulatory challenges. Collaborate with organizational subject matter experts to solve a range of complex problems and develop feasible and sustainable solutions. Strives for continuous improvement, alignment, and management of organizational systems. Continuously seek out learning opportunities to develop and strengthen skill sets. Excellent and demonstrated personal commitment to safety, health,and training. Work to accomplish job tasks with minimal supervision while receiving a moderate level of guidance and direction. Act as a resource and mentor for site and field trainers, able to lead the training team in place of direct supervisor for short periods. Participate in alignment of site initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Five (5) years of experience in process operations or maintenance with demonstrated leadership ability and success in relevant technical assignment required Excellent leadership skills and knowledge of influencing others required Experience in training,scheduling and facilitation required Effective time management to organize and prioritize a heavy workload in a fast-paced, demanding environment required Excellent verbal and written communication skills required Ability to promote and motivate safety behaviors and lead by exampler equired Capability to multi-task, self-manage and self-motivate required Proven safe work record required Demonstrate and maintain good attendance and performance records required Demonstrated ability to perform all essential function of this role required Thorough knowledge of MSHA, State,and ATF regulations preferred MSHA Instructor Certification (blue card) preferred Demonstrates ability to analyze and confidently present data in a manner to promote ideas and opportunities to lead improvement preferred Knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft OfficeSuite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio) preferredWhat We Can Offer You
