PCSI is looking for a Carpenter Maintenance at Fort Knox, Ky! Essential job functions include Plan and lay out work from blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions using a variety of trade hand tools, portable power tools, standard measuring devices, and standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work and selecting necessary materials for the work. This position will report to the Buildings and Structure Supervisor and is based at our Fort Knox Contract in Hardin County, Kentucky. Typical work hours will be Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

What You'll Do as JOB TITLE:
Plan and lay out work from blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions using a variety of trade hand tools, portable power tools, standard measuring devices, and standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work and selecting necessary materials for the work. Adhere to general safety plan, assist in materials handling and equipment usage, and operate general construction equipment on site. Perform carpentry work to a level consistent with Glover Standards and set forms for concrete work. What You'll Need to Be Successful:
High school diploma or GED. Requires working knowledge of related equipment. Four years related experience with the ability to perform the assigned duties. Must be able to effectively read, write, and speak the English language.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Regularly required to stand, walk, and work on ladders. Frequently required to kneel, squat, bend, and reach. Require to be able to lift 75lbs up to 10 times per day. Ability to work as a team member. Self-starter, able to work with minimal direction and supervision.Other Requirements:
Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening. Ability to work outside in inclement weather as needed and be exposed to various dirt, debris, and odors. Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays. Possess valid Kentucky State driver’s license and maintain good driving record.
