Benefits Include:

Base pay of $32.30 depending upon experience. Medical, dental, vision, and other coverage: employer contribution offered to cover employee-only tier. 401k plan with matching on contributions up to 6%.

What You'll Do as Carpenter II:

Installs, repairs, and/or replaces commercial door framing and doors, door hardware, door-lock mechanisms, cipher locks and auto-closures Installs, repairs, and/or replaces ceiling grid and tiles Installs, repairs, and/or replaces various commercial flooring types, to include carpet squares, VCT, linoleum, ceramic tile, floating floors, and various types of trim Investigates and locates leaks and potential leaks in various types of roofing then determine and potentially perform appropriate repairs. The ability to accomplish maintenance, repairs to ground, exterior structures, buildings, and related fixtures and utilities requiring the use of various trades practices associated with the occupation such as general laborer, carpentry, plumbing, cement work, painting, and other related trades Installs, repairs, and/or replaces drywall to include taping, mudding, painting, texturing and caulking Performs minor glass repair to include rubber and wet glazing Fabricates concrete forms to perform minor repairs Removes, replaces, and/or installs cabinetry and counters Supports other crafts / trades as required, and supports planning / estimating of jobs Must adhere to industry and site-specific safety standards / requirements plan, assists in material handling, equipment usage, and operates general construction equipment on site Must be able to climb ladders to gain access to roofs and equipment Ability to erect various types of scaffolding and operate various types of man-lifts highly desired Must be able to manage a project from start to finish to stay within established timeframe Ability to perform metal lath and plaster work is desirable Performs other duties as assigned Operates a company-owned vehicle (and cellular telephone) to transport self and others in performance of assigned duties; performs operator maintenance as required.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

High school diploma or equivalent and Journeyman License required Successfully pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background check, and motor vehicle report Must have a valid state Driver’s License. Able to effectively speak, read, and write the English language.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Able to read and understand / interpret blueprints and drawings to complete a variety of projects instructions using a variety of trade hand tools, portable power tools, standard measuring devices, and standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work and selecting necessary materials for the work Must possess analytical skills, with the ability to read, interpret, and develop statistical reports, drawings, and calculations and be able to interpret policies, procedures, and regulations Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills

Other Requirements:

Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening. Exposure to dirt, dust, loud noise, and outside weather conditions. Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays. Possess valid driver’s license and maintain good driving record. Ability to obtain and maintain a NACI clearance and CAC.
