POSITION TITLE: Skilled Carpenter

LOCATION: Massachusetts

DESCRIPTION:

Nouria Energy is a fast paced, fast growing retail and wholesale petroleum company operating over 180 locations from Maine into Connecticut with a corporate office located in Worcester, MA. We are seeking a Skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in various carpentry tasks and a strong attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Candidates must be able to independently carry out the duties and responsibilities listed below at a satisfactory level.

· Always adhere to expectation for jobsite professionalism including attitude, appropriate team dress code, conduct, organization, and cleanliness.

· Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and details

· The candidate should have a minimum 3 -5 years’ experience in commercial construction with proven experience a carpenter

· Utilize hand tools and power tools to measure, cut assemble and join materials

· Must possess the ability to adapt to different personalities and management styles

· Self-starter with excellent verbal and written skill

· Reliance on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals and tasks

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

· High School diploma required.

· 3 – 5 years in commercial construction, carpenter experience

JOB RELATED SKILLS

· Time management skills with ability to manage scheduled work with minimum supervision and complete on a timely manner with the most professional outcome.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to use email and internet dispatching applications currently utilized by Nouria Energy

· Ability to lift 50lbs

· Ability to climb ladders including heights of 24 feet.

· Ability to work on aerial lifts, booms, and bucket trucks.
