Read and use a tape measure including simple associated math (i.e. addition and subtraction)Ability to comfortably work from heightsHave own tools that are adequate to perform all job functionsWork in outdoor environments in all seasonsMust pass pre-employment physical/drug screeningResponsibilities:
Building and installing forms for substructure/superstructure bridge elements, retaining walls, sound walls, box culverts, and other similar structural elementsMeasure materials or distances, using square, measuring tape, or rule to lay out workCut or saw boards, timbers, or plywood to required size, using handsaw, power saw, or woodworking machineAssemble and fasten material together to construct wood or metal framework of structure, using bolts, nails, or screwsAnchor and brace forms and other structures in place, using nails, bolts, anchor rods, steel cables, planks, wedges, and timbersMark cutting lines on materials, using pencil and scriberErect forms, framework, scaffolds, ladders, hoists, or roof supports, using hand tools, plumb rule, and levelBore bolt holes in timber, masonry or concrete walls, using power drill.Assemble wood or metal forms for construction of columns and wallsBuilding and setting concrete form workPouring, smoothing and leveling concrete using a rake, trowel, float, vibrator and screedDirecting pump trucks, concrete trucks, or crane operators for the safe placement of concreteApplying sealing and curing compoundsMust be willing to perform manual labor related tasks to support projectsEnsure the company’s health and safety culture, policies and requirements are metEstablish and maintain a positive working relationship with customer and co-workersEqual Opportunity Employer:
