Are you a skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Joiner with expertise in fire door installation? We are currently seeking a Fire Door Carpenter/Joiner to join our clients team in the west london area for a long term project running for the rest of this year and the whole of next year. This is a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in enhancing fire safety measures and ensuring the integrity of buildings through the installation of fire doors.


Key Responsibilities:
Install fire doors, frames, and associated hardware in accordance with industry standards and regulations.Conduct inspections and assessments to identify fire door deficiencies and recommend appropriate corrective actions.Collaborate with project teams to ensure fire doors are integrated seamlessly into building designs and renovations.Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in fire safety regulations pertaining to fire door installation and maintenance.Provide guidance and support to colleagues and clients on fire door-related matters.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Carpenter/Joiner with a specialisation in fire door installation and maintenance.Experience working in a housing association or councilIn-depth knowledge of fire door regulations, building codes, and relevant industry standards.Strong carpentry and joinery skills, with a focus on precision and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
