**Job Title: Carpenter**
**Job Description**
Our client is a leading construction company specializing in a wide range of services, including earthwork, concrete, carpentry, and finishes. They are dedicated to delivering high-quality projects and take pride in their skilled workforce. They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join their team for a project currently taking place at the Hammond Building at Penn State for the next 6 months.
**Responsibilities**
+ Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications.
+ Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
+ Construct and install building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.
+ Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
+ Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
+ Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time and within budget.
**Requirements:**
+ 2-4 years of experience as a carpenter.
+ Proficient in using hand and power tools.
+ Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
+ Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
+ Excellent problem-solving abilities.
+ High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is preferred.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00
