-Position: 1st Shift Carpenter

\n

-Shift: 7:00am –; 3:00pm, Monday-Friday

\n

-Pay:$26.00per hour.

\n

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal will also have the following skills:

Aminimum of (1) one year's experience in the following:

\n

-2 Years of carpentry, woodworking, or crate building experience

\n

-This is a hands-on role that is spent most of shift out on the warehouse floor and moving to and from multiple areas of the building to include extended period of standing and walking.

Role Purpose:

Responsible for materials management, tools, unloading/loading, set up and breakdown in the completion of carpentry support of Crating; Receiving, Packing, Inventory, and shipping of storage, display, production, and sales machines, components, and parts.

Key Accountabilities:

100% crating of all large spares order, equipment, and tooling.Loading and unloading of trucks.Blocking and bracing of containers (2 to 4 per year).Managing crate planning.Completes standard crates for inventory.Maintains, Repairs, stocks used crates from IB and other sources.Maintain tools and carry out preventive maintenance program.Maintain lumber minimum stocks, inventory, and place replenishment orders with supervisor.Ensure all safety equipment is in proper working order.Complete required reports.Perform additional duties as required by management.Train back up.

Required Education and Experience:

5+ years of previous carpentry experienceExperience and expertise with all manner of carpentry toolsHigh School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
