PURPOSE

Repair and maintain wooden furniture, fixtures, doors, and cabinets. Design, fabricate, and assemble custom wooden furniture and decorative items. Install wooden doors, windows, partitions, flooring, and architectural elements. Conduct routine inspections to identify and address damage or wear in wooden structures. Assist in renovation and refurbishment projects, including restoring or replacing wooden items. Apply finishes such as stains, varnishes, paints, or protective coatings to wooden surfaces. Sand, smooth, and polish wooden surfaces for a professional finish. Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams for timely task completion. Ensure compliance with hotel safety standards and quality guidelines. Maintain and properly store tools, ensuring they remain in safe working condition. Support special projects with custom woodwork for VIP areas or themed designs. Treat and protect wood surfaces against moisture, pests, and environmental damage. Follow blueprints, sketches, or design plans to create and install wooden elements. Modify or repair wooden items on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations. Provide creative and technical input for wooden structures or furniture designs. Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure safety and efficiency. Report tool or equipment malfunctions and arrange for timely repairs or replacements.
