Who is the Carrier Governance Team?

The Carrier Governance Team assesses and manages the internal Carrier/Broker components to mitigate risk by ensuring the validity and accuracy of the information we receive and maintain available for Hub.

About the position:

The Carrier Governance Service Analyst is responsible for review, analysis, and action on changes and additions to our Broker Management Systems and Insurance Company information storage tools. They are experienced in building relationships and capturing an in-depth understanding of the strengths needed to support the accounting teams, regional finance, and servicing staff.

 

Responsibilities: 

Oversee the supporting roles for the department 

Identify process gaps and strengths and allocate resources as/where needed 

Create a collaborative environment where innovation for improvement is forested  

Build and follow up on individual development and enhancement plans for team members 

Provide guidance through continuous discussions with assigned team members that allow for collective dialogue  

Establish and uphold positive relationships with regional and operational partners 

Analyze, research and resolve complex escalations providing a timely follow up and solution  

Assist team in handling complex assignments in a timely manner following procedures and established guidelines  

Work in concert with all accounting departments throughout the Hub Financial Center  

Ability to complete additional projects as assigned  

 

Requirements: 

High school diploma or equivalent required  

Prefer at least 2 years’ experience in accounting/finance field 

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office Suite experience 

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities 

Solid attention to detail  

Demonstrated ability to take initiative and achieve results in a fast-paced and changing environment  

Must have flexibility of working additional hours as needed based on business needs  

Effectively and actively communicate through various channels  

Assesses opportunities and strengths to analyze team performance and manage resources  

Showcases active listening skills and ability to determine team's needs efficiently  

Disclosure required under applicable municipal regulations in NY and NJ, as well as the law in Colorado, California and Washington states: The expected salary range for this position is $24.50 to $33.00  and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
