Carrier Manager
**C.H. Robinson is looking for a Carrier Manager** who excels at fostering carrier relationships, enhancing performance, and managing rate strategies. In this role, you’ll collaborate on performance improvement plans, oversee carrier scorecards, and support large RFP projects—all while driving operational efficiency. You'll work closely with both carriers and internal teams to resolve escalations, analyze market trends, and ensure seamless supply chain operations. If you're a strategic thinker with a passion for logistics and relationship management, join our team and make a real impact. **Apply today** ! **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following: + Collaborate to create performance improvement plans to carrier and track improvement to plan + Work to continuously improve carrier management processes + Manage carrier rates, lane bids and maintains master rate file + Responsible for rate and invoice exception management in conjunction with the internal customer account team + Publish and interpret carrier scorecards and service metrics + Work directly with customer on large RFP exercises + Act as carrier escalation point to assist with the resolution of any open issues + May participate in procurement projects including, but not limited to, data extraction, analysis, formatting, and presentation of rates and data related to pricing requests + Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements **QUALIFICATIONS** Required: + Minimum 4 years of professional experience + Exceptional facilitation skills including but not limited to relationship management, presentation, documentation and accountability + Should possess strong root cause and analytical skills + Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills + Demonstrated ability to communicate with various levels within customer organization (both written and verbal) + Ability to identify, understand and execute based on market trends and pricing strategies + Ability to travel up to 25% (domestically and internationally) Preferred: + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university + Professional experience in Procurement, carrier sales, transportation, logistics, and/or Supply Chain + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs + Values a diverse and inclusive work environment **WHAT WE OFFER** + Real opportunities to grow your talent in a fast-moving, global organization + A fun, open, and inclusive workplace that encourages innovative thinking + Possibility to develop your language skills in our multilingual offices + Opportunities for professional growth with access to training platforms + Comprehensive benefits: competitive salary and performance-based bonuses, travel allowance, life insurance, healthcare plan, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) after one year of employment Questioning if you meet the mark?
