RESPONSIBILITIES:
Match carrier capacity to shipments to ensure smooth freight movement
Build and grow freight opportunities while managing specific shipments as needed
Secure capacity by negotiating rates, buying effectively, and collaborating directly with carriers
Develop and maintain strong carrier relationships through outreach, regular communication, and account reviews
Collaborate with internal teams and carriers to solve issues and provide shipment updates
Promote and implement carrier automation tools to streamline operations
Ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies
Use data and analytics to guide informed decisions and carrier interactions
Identify new business opportunities with carriers through proactive engagement
Adapt to team needs and support business goals while working closely with carriers
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or college
Experience in road freight forwarding
Open-minded and adaptable
Team player with a proactive attitude and enthusiasm for collaboration.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Confident in negotiation, persuasion, and influencing techniques.
Skilled in prioritizing tasks and performing under pressure to meet deadlines.
Fluent English
