Competitive Pay:$23-$25 per hour for 35 hours per week.
Schedule:Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM
Location: Queens, NY

What You'll Be Doing:
+ Be the Bridge:Serve as a key liaison with the courts, conducting assessments, arranging appropriate treatment placements, and managing client service plans.
+ Drive Success:Maintain thorough client records, prepare progress reports for the criminal justice system, and coordinate supportive services.
+ Make a Difference:Conduct cognitive behavioral therapy interventions, provide HIV/Hepatitis testing resources, and assist clients with referrals for treatment.
+ Hands-On Support:Escort clients to appointments and treatment facilities when necessary, maintain a caseload of offenders, and conduct monthly site visits to treatment agencies.
+ Stay Engaged:Perform drug testing as needed and keep up-to-date with the latest intervention techniques and treatment programs.
What We're Looking For:
+ Qualifications:An Associate’s degree in a helping profession with at least 2 years of experience in intervention programs. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
+ Language Skills:Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
+ Experience:Experience with health education groups or cognitive-behavioral interventions is a plus. Knowledge of local criminal justice and health systems is desirable.
+ Skills:Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to work collaboratively with treatment and criminal justice systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software is required.
