Case Manager- ERASE/EIP Job Details Job Location 400 Carleton Avenue, Central Islip, NY, 11722 - Central Islip, NY Position Type Part Time Education Level High School Diploma or Educational Equiv Salary Range $22.00 - $22.00 Hourly Travel Percentage Up to 25% Job Category Human Service Case Manager EAC Network, a not-for-profit social service agency that empowers, assists, and cares for over 62,888 people in need through 100 programs across Long Island and NYC, seeks a Case Manager to work part time for its Education, Rehabilitation and Support Enforcement/ Early Intervention Program. The Case Manager position is an non-exempt position paying $22 per hour at 28 hours per week. The schedule is flexible.4 days per week with in the hours of Monday- Friday 8:45-4:45 and the office is located in Central Islip, NY. The role reports to the Program Supervisor. Primary Purpose of Job: The Case Manager is responsible for assisting the Supervisor of the ERASE/EIP Program in coordinating and monitoring the program. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: + Act as a liaison among CSEB & Department of Social Services, Hearing Magistrates & court personnel, County Attorneys, Respondents, Petitioners and/or Assignors. + Interview newly-ordered Respondents (at court) to provide them with an explanation of their court orders, as well as information on how, when and where to make their child support payments. Provide information regarding the process to file a petition or any other enforcement procedure. + Mail out all relevant payment information to parties who do not stay/attend a court appearance. + Perform system searches and update all relevant information in the DSS court computer retrieved through the interview. + Contact employers to verify employment. + Prepare materials necessary on a monthly basis for Child Support Seminar. + Perform clerical work such as filing, logging, tracking, sending letters, returning phone calls, etc. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities required: + High school diploma or educational equivalent required. Degree in Behavioral Sciences or Criminal Justice preferred. + Minimum of two years of relevant work experience and knowledge of administrative procedures required. + Must be proficient in computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, Microsoft office applications, calendar, and email and/or database software necessary to perform work assignments. + Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills + Must have access to automobile and possess a valid drivers license to operate in NY State.
