Schedule: Part-time Plus, 3 days per week, (25 hours / week)
Reporting Relationship: Regional Manager
Salary/Grade: $13.50-14.50 per hour (Target Wage Rate), 72/NE

ResponsibilitiesDescription of Position:
Maintain a positive presence for The Salvation Army in the Northern Berks Community, provides casework for emergency assistance, manages CAP program for UGI, and maintains the Sheetz, Camp, Angel Tree, TulpyPacks, and Back To School programs of The Salvation Army, and works with volunteers and community agencies to further the mission of The Salvation Army. Respond courteously and promptly to all types of communications from outside and within The Salvation Army. Cultivate relationships with current and new individuals, corporate, organizational donors and partners for the Hamburg Service Center to facilitate increased donations. Maintain online correspondence and presence of the Hamburg Service Center. Keep program and client data and statistics and reports to the Regional Manager as requested. Maintains office supply inventory and reorders supplies, arranges maintenance of office equipment, and keeps all areas clean and orderly. Maintain accurate files for all programs in accordance with Service Extension Department standards and/or additional standards set by Regional Manager. Prepare information for and communicate with any superiors according to The Salvation Army chain of command.
QualificationsRequirements:
High School Education with 5 years secretarial type experience and/or extensive work history in diversified setting.Working knowledge of computer programs including Windows, Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and Facebook. Excellent telephone and all other communication skills. Self-motivated and self-directed and able to work effectively with persons seeking assistance.As a Mandated Reporter, must provide proof of having completed training on recognizing and reporting child abuse meeting the training standards of PA Act 153 of 2014 within 30 days of employment with recurrent training required every five years thereafter.Meet the Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153, including the PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and FBI Criminal Record Check.Must possess an understanding of and support the mission of The Salvation Army.Contact: Please email or fax your resume along with a cover letter including salary requirements to:
