Under direct supervision, receives funds from customers and records monetary transactions. Counts money to verify amounts. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:Records payments received into the lockboxDeposits payments received at the location by sending checks to the lockboxRecords batches and applies to invoicesResearch and resolve over and short paymentsContacts vendors to resolve problems relating to paymentsResearch and resolves unapplied cashMonitors unapplied cash and take measures to minimizeMakes sure that cash transactions are properly recorded
