TierPoint is experiencing tremendous growth. We have the opportunity for a Cash Application Analyst to join our team. This position will be responsible for cash applications, credit risk analyses and reporting.  The ideal candidate will ensure that cash is applied, and credit ratings are processed in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures.

Responsibilities Post all cash entries—ACH, Wires, Lockbox, Credit Cards, Misc. items, Direct DebitsCreate multiple excel financial reports for executive management using VLOOKUPS & Pivot Tables Prepare daily and weekly cash trending reportsPerform cash month-end close processRespond to customer questions and requests for credit card & eCheck payment updatesSorting and actioning Cash Application emails and NetSuite casesActively participate and communicate in team-based work groups to improve processesProvide customer service and develop relationships with internal/external customersCross-training other staff members as neededPerform adhoc reporting as neededSupport the accounting month end close processOther duties and projects as assigned Qualifications 2 - 3 years’ transferrable Accounts Receivable experience, preferably in corporate cash applications and credit riskProficiency in using MS Excel including pivot tables and VLOOKUPS and Windows-based computer applicationsExcellent with details and with a willingness to jump in and learn and perform Ability to prioritize and organize effectively Willingness and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work both independently and with others Ability to operate in a fast moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment with tight deadlinesProficiency in using MS Office Suite and Windows-based computer applications

 

 Preferred Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or equivalent areasPrior experience particularly in the data center industryIntermediate knowledge of cash applications, credit and/or receivables procedures and practices3-5 years’ experience, preferably in corporate cash applications and credit risk
