As a Cash Applications Representative I you will play a pivotal role in the finance department by accurately processing and recording cash receipts and payments. You will work closely with the revenue cycle team to ensure that all financial transactions are correctly applied, reconciled, and accounted for. This position is ideal for individuals with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy.

Process daily electronic payment filesProcess daily balancing of electronic remittance adviceReview Batch from OnBaseProcess Online Insurance LockboxProcess Lockbox DepositsBalance Daily CashResolves accounts that require additional investigationReview and resolve requests in system on a daily basisProcesses Credit Card Payments, Non-sufficient FundsPosting and resolving Unidentified or Misdirected CashCommunicate with payee to request required informationResolving Unposted Cash ErrorsProcess Returned Checks (other than NSF)Update Insurance from EOBPerforms Cashier functionsProcesses Expenditure RequisitionReconciling Bank ErrorsWhat you will need:
Education: High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required. College degree preferredSkills:Knowledge of basic accounting principles. Strong math skills.Understanding of payer structures and coordination of benefits between payers. Ability to make appropriate and autonomous judgements and decisions on a variety of problems which require research, analysis and communication.Experience:1 year of general office experience required. 1 year of satisfactory performance as a biller or follow-up representatives in a healthcare accounts receivable environment preferred. 3 years of related clerical experience (hospital insurance or physician office), strongly preferred.Benefits:
