With our support, Publicis Groupe agencies continue to create and deliver award-winning campaigns for their clients. **Overview** As a Junior Associate Cash Collections, you will be responsible for the timely collection of all outstanding invoices delegated to one’s portfolio. Act as liaison between clients and internal finance teams. This will include heavy interaction with clients, billing, and NA brand agencies. Will work within the A/R collections team to achieve group and departmental targets and goals. **Responsibilities** **Collections and Reporting:** + Responsible for collection of past due client invoices and weekly reporting of collection status to management while ensuring an optimal customer experience. + Prepares statistical report on aged accounts and applies a consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. + Provide reporting and analysis to Collections manager and Designs and analyze various payment scenarios. + Actively document collection status, which include promise to pay and customer payment issues within the comment section of aging. + Prepares and presents AD hoc reporting. **Accounts Receivable Management:** + Minimize Days Sale Outstanding (DSO), account balances over 90 days+ past due while increasing percent current. Reconcile accounts to ensure credit and payments on account are at a minimum. + Investigate historical data for each debt or bill to understand the billing schemes and negotiations in place with the clients and how they affect her/his ability to collect receivables. + Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts. Actively monitor and document customers who become severely delinquent. + Notify management of any bad debt, write off or uncollectable balances. **Strategic Collaboration & Partnership:** + Partners with Supervisor to outline necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment. Works within the queue in order to ensure all follow-ups are met on a daily basis. + Work closely with the brands and account management teams to quickly resolve collection issues. Identify issues that require further research and hand these issues off to resolvers for resolution. + Partners with other Divisions and departments to improve bad debt/accounts receivable collection, fraud management, credit screening. + Promote strong collaborative relationships between collection team and other internal teams such as billing, brand account finance teams, and account management teams. **Customer & Client Relationship Management:** + Design and monitor special payment plans as needed for clients that are past due while ensuring an optimal customer experience. + Partners with Supervisor to outline necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment. Works within the queue in order to ensure all follow-ups are met on a daily basis. **Compliance & Policy Adherence:** + Maintains familiarity with current policies, procedures, and systems supporting these functions. **Qualifications** + **Education:** Advanced studies or Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Title in finance, accounting, business, or other related fields. + **Experience:** Previous experience in accounts receivable, cash applications, or similar finance-related roles is preferred. + **Language:** Upper-Intermediate English level (B2) or superior. + **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, data analysis) and ERP software for data entry and payment tracking.
