Position Responsibilities:
Picks up mail from all areas.Sorts and opens all mail.Distribute all personally addressed and non-patient related mail.I.D. scan an index all patient mail.Separates payments received by mail into batches daily.Makes copies of all batches and prepare tapes totaling payments for daily deposits.Attaches copies of the original checks to corresponding back-ups and run tapes for posting insuring checks and back ups are accurately matched daily.Endorses all checks prior to depositing.Runs copies of deposits through the microfiche machine ensuring checks are filmed daily.Identifies the account numbers, for those listed as "no account number" on checks listing daily.Researches discrepancies on deposits as needed.Supports team leader/Head Cashier processing all up front deposits daily.Provides copies of checks received for departments other than the Business Office as per agreement with those specific departments or upon daily request.Maintains a neat and clean working area.Qualifications:
