PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Treasury Cash Management Analyst manages cash movement between banking and investment accounts for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, ACH payments, and wire transfers, prepares and balances various reconciliations for cash movements and balances and participates in month end close balancing and entries as needed. This role also aids in the preparation of information of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. All work is performed in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
• Exercise discretion and independent judgement to manage incoming and outgoing cash flow through various bank and investment accounts, including determining impact to interest earnings, to reallocate funding between all accounts to ensure funding is adequate for day-to-day operation of the business
• Initiate and confirm outgoing payments including, but not limited to, Accounts Payable, Payroll, manual ACH, and manual Wires
• Review investment accounts and determine appropriate account to apply excess funds to maximize interest earnings
• Reconcile multiple bank accounts daily with incoming and outgoing cash transactions, research and resolve anomalies, and report suspicious transactions immediately to appropriate personnel
• Balance and reconcile payroll, taxes and garnishments researching variances and reporting anomalies to appropriate personnel
• Perform reconciliations for monthly financial postings to general ledger; balance to monthly bank account statement
• Review outgoing payments, investigate transactions that are incorrect or missing, contact banking institution to research and resolve
• Oversee daily activities of Cash Management Clerk, providing direction and guidance on issues that arise and ensure policies and procedures are adhered to
• Provide guidance to Complex Finance Mgrs regarding treasury related questions
• Identify opportunities for improvement, develop improvement, present to appropriate personnel, and lead or participate in the implementation of improvement
• Wear personal protective equipment in all areas where required
• Perform additional relevant duties as assigned
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• This role currently oversees one administrative clerk
• This is an individual contributor role with required competencies: Functional/Technical Skills, Action Oriented, Problem Solving, Learning on the Fly, and Interpersonal Savvy as well as a Leader of People role with required competencies: Sizing up People, Delegation, Planning, Customer Focus and Conflict Management
EDUCATION and CERTIFICATIONS:
• Preferred Associates’ degree in Accounting, Finance, or other applicable discipline from an accredited institution
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
• Minimum four (4) years of corporate account or treasury experience preferred
• Good computer skills including Microsoft Office suite with intermediate Excel skills.
• Knowledge of accounting procedures according to generally accepted accounting principles and of reconciling accounts
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to fluently communicate effectively both up and down the chain of command and with external customers when needed in a timely and professional manner
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail
• Must possess a strong customer-centric attitude, high energy level and a strong sense of urgency

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to work non-standard shifts when needed (Holiday, weekend and extended)
• Ability to remain stationary during periods of concentration, working on computers or other office equipment
