Citibank, N.A. seeks a Cash Management Sales Officer for its New York, NY location.
Duties: Oversee client portfolios and take global, regional, and local accountability for delivering Treasury and Trade solutions including Cash and Liquidity Management, Commercial Card, and Trade Working Capital solutions. Actively pursue treasury opportunities by deepening existing client relationships and building new relationships. Act as the primary global point of contact and take accountability for Treasury solutions within client portfolios. Responsible for increasing Treasury revenues with a focus on finding new opportunities while building a trusted advisor status with clients and Relationship Managers. Drive innovation of solutions provided to clients. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including Citi’s policies and guidelines. Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating close consideration for the firm’s reputation while safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in portfolio management within the financial industry. The employer will accept three years of university-level studies plus two years of experience in meeting the Bachelor’s degree requirement. Six (6) years of experience must include: Portfolio management including taking global, regional, and local accountability to deliver Treasury and Cash Management solutions; Leading complex, multi-country corporate and treasury transactions and providing complex liquidity structures which drive visibility for corporations; Utilizing CRM (Customer Relationship Management) to track progress of deals, calling efforts, and opportunity identification; Providing clients with dynamic information, tools, and APIs to effectively manage their treasury needs, working capital, and supply chains; Engaging with Cash Managers, Finance Specialists, A/P and A/R Managers, Treasurers and CFOs and providing advisory service about best-in-class treasury constructs; Writing RFI/RFP responses and delivering presentations to clients and their leadership team; and Managing and pursuing treasury service opportunities within certain industry verticals including Consumer and Retail. 40 hrs./wk. 30% domestic travel required.
