The Accounts Payable Cash Management Specialist is an accounting support position in a fast- paced centralized accounting services environment providing financial services to community associations throughout North America.
\n\nDuties include but are not limited to:
\n\n\nProcess/research stale dated check reports daily.\nMonitor low funds reporting to identify potential risks and identify possible issues.\nResearch and respond to help spot tickets sent to the AP Cash Management queue.\nHandle utility disconnects by researching past due invoices and facilitation of payment via telephone to vendors daily.\nReview positive pay exceptions and ensure they are dispositioned prior to the bank submission deadline each day. Identify root cause of positive pay exceptions and provide solutions to prevent future exceptions.\nInitiate check run activity for manual checks, route checks accordingly, prepare checks for daily outgoing mail and facilitate check printing at local branches throughout the day.\nReview all GIACT fraud preventing ACH transactions, identifying root causes and provide solutions to prevent future exceptions.\nHandle utility disconnects by researching past due invoices and facilitation of payment via telephone to vendors daily.\nOn occasion generate ACH files and validate transactions within the files, resolving any errors and identify solutions to prevent future occurrences. Ensure files are transmitted prior to daily submission deadlines. Utilize helpspot software to track ACH transactions\nOther duties and/or special projects may be assigned to meet business needs; Incumbent will follow other job-related instructions and perform other job-related duties from time to time if requested by department management\n\n RequirementsKnowledge and Skills:
\n\n\nUnderstanding of or experience in the Community Association Management Industry\nExperience with automated AP workflows and modules\nShared Service Center experience\n\nEducation:
\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED Required\n0 – 3 years of directly related or closely related experience\n\n
