Summary/Objective: Perform all duties related to the timely and accurate posting of cash, validation of deposits and posting detail, and resolution to outstanding bank reconciling items.
Essential Job Functions:Pull EOBs from websites, billing systems, internal drives, etc. as needed to identify cash to be posted to appropriate payer. Knowledgeable on reading and understanding EOBs including identifying and adjusting copay amounts to proper payers. Create cash batch in Point Click Care (PCC) Posts payments (from all sources except Private Pay) to A/R system Cross-validates payments posted by counterpart (cash batch posting detail to record of receipt) Verifies all cash batches are posted to AR and balanced daily Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma (or GED) Strong background in long term care payer types preferred Basic knowledge of cash applications and procedures preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong organizational and communication skills Basic understanding of Excel and Word Exposure to PCC system preferred
