Cash & Revenue Auditor

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Cash and Revenue Auditor will verify, audit, and reconcile daily revenue, cash summaries, document verification, and process paperwork for gaming and non-gaming departments to ensure compliance with regulations and organization’s guidelines and accuracy of the documents.

CORE SCOPE OF POSITION

Performs daily revenue audits and reconcile general ledger accounts for Vault/Cage Cash, Kiosk machines, Marker Bank and Fill Bank balance sheets and related paperwork according to established guidelines. Reviews paperwork against Guest Casino Credit accounts on a quarterly basis. Maintains variance database and reports variances or discrepancies identified during course of audits. Reviews all offsetting variances that requires investigation, research, and problem solving. Generates monthly variance report to Gaming Commission for review. Inputs casino tickets into appropriate databases or spreadsheets and reconciles totals as required. Verifies the accuracy of data and corrects errors. Accurately files, batches, boxes, and labels paperwork for archival storage. Picks up and drops off slot and cage paperwork, mail, gaming tax paperwork, and other documents at designated locations throughout the casino. Communicates on a regular basis with departmental management. Follows Viejas Guest Service standards while performing job duties. Works collaboratively with all Viejas Team Members to develop and maintain a positive relationship in delivering an unsurpassed experience at all times. Establishes and maintains professional working relations with internal and external guests. Attends and participates in meetings as required. Follows all Viejas policies and procedures. Ensures that work area is clean, safe, secure, and well maintained. May assist with special events as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
