Cash & Trade Processing Associate Analyst - Hybrid
The Cash & Trade Processing Associate Analyst is an entry level role responsible for assisting on any projects and initiatives related to cash management in coordination with the Debt Issuer Operations team. The overall objective is to ensure transactions are completed with accuracy and on time, while helping various internal roles related to debt issuance and vault operations. **Responsibilities:** + Monitor and ensure transactions processes are executed correctly and are compliant with internal policies and controls + Ensure transactions are completed with accuracy and on a timely basis as a Paying Agent, assist with debt issuance setups + Dealing with client and depository queries, resolving reconciliation breaks + Assist in the investigation, documentation, and corrective action implementation of all required issues as directed + Respond to escalations, avoid overdraft situations and exceptions processing + Aid with the transition, alignment, and stabilization efforts of critical operations functions + Process transfer agent functions incl. - Global Notes, vault function, scanning of documents and check processing. + Assist as required for control, risk, daily activities, and transaction services projects + Provide informal guidance or on the job training to new team members as required + Crosstrain for various internal roles within the department, and provide back-up coverage for those roles as needed + Anticipate and respond to requests for deliverables from internal and external clients and vendors + Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. **Qualifications:** + 2-5 years of relevant experience + Demonstrated cash and trade operations experience & knowledge + Effective verbal and written communication skills + Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfortable with data entry **Education:** + Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
