POSITION SUMMARY:

The Cashier, F&B is responsible for providing professional, prompt and efficient service assistance to the assigned Outlet’s monetary transactions as well as preparing and maintaining money bags and floats.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assumes responsibility of the assigned Outlet’s POSF&B Server handling cashierAssists in waiter, bartender, host or steward tasks if requested by the Outlet SupervisorPerforms monetary transactions including but not limited to cash and credit cardsEnsures all transactions are performed in a timely and accurate manner including communicating shift hand-over issues and completing shift-end balancesEnsures all paperwork is presented and organized in an audible mannerPrepares equipment, station, stock, float, floor prior and after serviceAnticipates guests need and strives to exceed their expectations by following guidelines given by ManagementHolds a thorough knowledge of the casino and hotel layout in order to ensure that guest queries can be answered or referred promptlyEnsures high standards of personal presentation and groomingAttends training sessions and meetings when requiredEnsures all duties are performed in strict compliance with relevant policies and procedures of City of Dream MediterraneanMaintains positive relations with other staff and departmentsParticipates in training and other activities to facilitate high team performanceAdheres to all Company policies and proceduresReports accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to supervisorsCarries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by superiors due to business requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

Minimum 1 year of previous customer service and cash handling experience preferably within the Hospitality industry

Education

High School diplomaQualifications related to the Hospitality Industry is an advantage

Skills

Knowledge of POS systems is an advantageExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsTime management and organizational skillsExcellent command of English, Greek and other languages highly regarded
