Cashier responsibilities include receiving payments, issuing receipts, and keeping track of all cash and credit transactions. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service position and good knowledge of how cash registers operate.

Where You'll Make an Impact:

Responsible for operating cash register to cash out guests.Answering phone, greeting customers, and keeping track of seat availability in restaurants.Responsible for assisting with bussing and cleaning tables.Ability to perform assigned duties in an interruptive environment under frequent time pressures.Work to ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.Other duties as assigned.

Skills You'll Need to Succeed

Ability to organize and be creative. Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of food.Ability to use a cash register, credit card machine, point of sale machine, restaurant bar equipment, and equipment.Ability to read simple instructions.Knowledgeable of Alcohol Beverage Control laws, health regulations, and PPE (Personal Property Equipment).Ability to communicate in English and fluency in either Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese or Asian language is a plus.

A Few Must Haves

Education: A high school diploma or GED equivalent.Experience: One (1) year food service experience. (Preferred).Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk continually throughout a scheduled shift.Ability to bend, stoop and reach while carrying dishes, product, equipment, trash/waste weighing up to 50 pounds.Ability to push and carry trash bags weighing up to 50 pounds.
