Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated What you'll be doing as a Cashier: * Verify cash at beginning of shift. * Operate cash register, receives cash from customers or employees in payment for goods or services and records amounts received. * Computes or re-computes bills, itemized lists, and tickets showing amount due using adding machine or cash register, makes change, cashes checks and issues receipts or tickets to customers. * Control, organize, monitor, & maintain cash levels in drawer. * Prepares reports of transactions, reads and records totals shown on cash register tape and verifies against cash on hand. * May make credit card transactions and may be required to know value and features of items for which money is received. * May give cash refunds or issue credit memorandums to customers for returned merchandise, operate ticket-dispensing machine. * Complete customer purchases by scanning merchandise or inputting price into register quickly/accurately. * Ensure all items are input into cash registers and menu boards. * Practices good sanitation techniques. * Complies and follows appropriate Food Handlers Safety Components. * Other tasks as may be directed by the Project Manager/Supervisor. Available shifts: Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day) , 2nd Shift (Evening) Job requirements: * Education: At least High School or equivalent * Experience using point of sale system * Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner. * Must have experience as a cashier. * Must complete ServSafe Food Handler Certification within 30 days of employment. * Must be able to Work a Flexible Work Schedule. * Pass and maintain any required security clearance requirement and comply with Drug Free Workplace policy. * Background check and drug screening required.
