The Store Team Lead primary duties are to direct customer traffic to fast checkouts, serve as first responder to customer inquiries, direct duties of cashiers and maintenance employees in absence of their respective managers. Candidates must exhibit leadership, store knowledge and communicative skills in order to be considered for this role. 

The essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

$20.00 / hourIllustrate competent knowledge of various Point of Sale and transaction devicesDeliver clean, friendly and in-stockServe as cashier when neededEnforce Company policies and procedures in absence of store managementPerform close dutiesAssign and inspect elements of the shift duty listReconcile shift reportsPerform other duties as required and/or assigned Must be able to function in a fast paced work environmentMust be able to stand and walk on a hard or concrete surface, bend, reach, kneel, squat, reach overhead and side to side and able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basisWalking, typing, sitting, climbing, lifting, or reading abilities necessary to complete essential tasksThe Store Team Lead typically works 40 hours per week. The position requires that the employee be available mornings, evenings and overnight. Must have open availability to work weekdays, weekends and holidaysEmployee must be able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation 

The position requirements include, but are not limited to:

High School degree or equivalentMinimum of 6 months Buc-ee’s retail experience preferredMay include periodic exposure to all outdoor conditions at all times of day and year
