THE JOB: 

The Cage Cashier is primarily responsible for handling monetary transactions and exchanges with guests.  You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.

THE STARTING RATE:  $19.50 / Per Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Execute frontline entry-level transactions, including chip bank, poker, cage credit, and employee bank/window transactionsHandle functions in the marker/IOU bank, cash bank, main bank, and High Limit Slot or High Limit Table (Baccarat) cages; may also assist with patron Kiosk/TRU units and employee Recycler/JetSafe unitsCash various types of checks for patrons according to specified guidelines; redeem chips/tokens, TITO (ticket in/ticket out), and Race and Sports ticketsManage Marker and Front Money transactions on patron accounts; redeem all acceptable forms of foreign currencySecurely document all recordable transactions involving company assets and record all checks cashed in the designated computer systemAccurately complete electronic multiple transaction logs and, when necessary, manually complete transaction logs; balance the bank at the end of each shiftProvide patrons with general information as requestedIssue or surrender safety deposit boxes

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

High school diploma, GED or educational equivalentNevada State Gaming RegistrationMust be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidaysOne (1) year of previous casino cage experience in a similar resort settingExperience with Title 31 reportingProficiency in fundamental mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and money handlingWorking knowledge of 10-key adding machine, currency counter and cash advance machineExceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholdersAbility to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environmentBasic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as standard office equipmentCapable of standing and walking for a majority of the shiftAble to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
