THE JOB:
The Cage Credit Clerk will support guests, Casino Executives, and Corporate Credit by providing the necessary information for credit decisions. Depending on the property, the role may also involve assisting with safety deposit box tasks. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.
THE STARTING PAY RATE: $16.00 / Per Hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Provide credit applications to guests, inform them of required information, and review completed applications to ensure all necessary details are includedCollaborate closely with Corporate Credit to ensure all credit checks are conducted thoroughlyCreate Players Club accounts for new guests, entering their biographical data, and updating existing accounts with any new information providedConduct data research through Central CreditFor properties with safety deposit boxes, open and close boxes for hotel guests and provide access during their stayContact banking establishments to obtain bank ratings and verify issued checks, scan and record identification and signatures into the computer systemAssist in completing and distributing Cage paperwork as neededPerform weekly audits of safety deposit boxes and report findings to cage managementGather information and record it on affidavits for executive reviewTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
High school diploma, GED or educational equivalentNevada State Gaming RegistrationMust be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidaysSix (6) months of previous administrative experienceOne (1) year of previous guest services experience in a similar resort settingPrior Banking experienceUnderstanding of Casino OperationsExcellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detailExceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholdersBasic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machineCapable of standing and walking for a majority of the shiftAble to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal formsTHE PERKS & BENEFITS:
