THE JOB: 

The Casino Host is an entry-level position that is the first point of contact for customer services. A Casino Host will use appropriate judgment to execute casino customer request.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Supports MGM Rewards Desk, Front Desk, VIP Host Desk, Host phone line and other various departments

Evaluate customers’ casino activity to provide corresponding incentives and may have authorization to approve minimum number of comps and allowances (i.e., room, food, beverage, and/or event tickets

Responsible for maintaining relationships with premium level customers through telemarketing and event marketing with a special focus on cultivating relationships with high end slot customers through new and inactive leads along with booking MGM Air flight guests

Assist in maintaining and developing property’s customer base through meeting and interacting with customers

Process customers’ reservations by using OPERA & PATRON management systems

Resolve customer disputes and complaints to the satisfaction of the customer and the company

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

One (1) year of customer service experience

Two (2) years hotel operations, casino marketing, VIP services or table games

Previous experience working in a similar resort setting

Able to work in the fast pace environment

Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts

Ability to have flexibility and open to work a variety of shifts

Demonstrates and maintains a professional, neat and well‐groomed appearance adhering to MGM Resorts International Marketing standards

Must be able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms

Proficiency in Patron, Veridocs, Okta/Workday and other relevant software

Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail
