THE JOB:
The Casino Host Services Specialist is primarily responsible for promptly executing all requests from Casino Marketing Executives and providing additional support for Casino Marketing initiatives. All tasks must be carried out in alignment with departmental and company policies, practices, and procedures. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.
THE STARTING PAY RATE: $21.90 / Per Hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Professionally manage ACD (automatic call distribution) lines and assist executives with reservation bookings and inquiries, adhering to the telephone etiquette standards established by the Casino Marketing department
Handle reservations for casino rooms, restaurants, golf, transportation, cabanas, amenities, spas, and nightclubs, delivering exceptional guest service that aligns with the property's core standards
Create and manage ticket blocks for resident shows within the resort system
Assess casino play to issue complimentary amenities and accurately settle customer accounts based on comp criteria and Casino Host instructions, ensuring guest information is consistently updated and precise
Maintain extensive knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and activities to provide accurate information and assist various departments, including Casino Hosts, VIP Lounge, and Special Events, in managing guest relations
Adhere to all legal requirements, including Title 31, attend mandatory compliance and training sessions, and stay informed about departmental and property policies and procedures
Demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment through effective multitasking, sound judgment, and outstanding guest service, in line with the brand's attributes
Support Casino Marketing Operations and Executives to enhance customer service and team alignment, staying current with procedural, policy, and informational updates
Ensure guest profiles and preferences are accurate and detailed, including contact information and specific preferences, to personalize the guest experience
Maintain a thorough understanding of all departmental standards and policies, actively contributing to a safe and efficient work environment
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
One (1) year or more of previous experience at the Front Desk, VIP Services, other correlating Casino Marketing departments or a high-volume customer service position within a similar resort setting
Previous experience with project-based initiatives which demonstrates the ability to be responsible for and owning a process
Thorough working knowledge of Opera, Patron Management, and Microsoft Office
Detail oriented and has effective decision-making, social and organizational skills
Able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment while maintaining a proper mental attitude
Have collaborative and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts, to include management, employees, and outside contacts while working under pressure
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent
Nevada State Gaming Registration
Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
