Assist the EVS Manager in supervising all functions of the EVS Department and employees.Responsible for assisting EVS Manager in all aspects of staffing, including posting of positions, interviews, hiring, scheduling, performance evaluations and when necessary, disciplinary action and termination.Responsible for assisting EVS Manager in all aspects of records maintenance.Shares in the responsibility for meeting employee needs including ensuring that all employees have the necessary equipment to perform their job;Must maintain high visibility on property; Assist EVS Manager in conducting departmental stall meetings.Must lead by example; Provide coaching as appropriate to assist EVS Leads and employees in reaching their full potential as a member of the EVS team.Must ensure effective communication of all departmental/Company information to staff.Ability to manager per company policies, all regulatory requirement and CBA; Assist Supervisors in understanding a Union environment and contract obligationsReview and approve all supply orders and equipment maintenance.Create a positive, professional work environment emphasizing a teamwork approach and effective communication.Maintain professional conduct and appearance.Responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, laws, regulatory requirements, including required trainings.Assist with general cleaning and maintenance duties, as required.Regular and predictable attendance is required.
