Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures scheduling is done in an effective and efficient manner, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction. Makes recommendation to the Director of Casino Operations on strategies to enhance overall customer service, Table layout and mix, and expense management to maximize profitability. Responsible for the overall engagement of all team members by addressing and managing team member feedback, suggestions and complaints. Evaluates the work performance of all Floor Supervisors Ensures the proper conduct and integrity of all Gaming Operations. Ensures all Gaming personnel are properly trained Responsible for ROD and termination of cast members. Responsible for responding to all auditing reports on daily basis Responsible for interviewing candidates for all Gaming divisions. Responsible for assisting the Director of Casino Operations in all areas. Responsible for all stock inventory in the Casino Operations divisions. Responsible for all purchase requests authorized for the position’s level. Working hours are determined by 24-hour business schedule. Resolves guest and player disputes that have been escalated to their level. Reviews payroll of all Gaming Operations Department divisions. Responsible for working in conjunction with pertinent departments to help organize and implement any promotions. Must comprehend, enforce, and comply with all Organization and Gaming related policies and procedures, MICS, Gaming Regulations and Title 31 and Safety training requirements. Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.Requirements:
Minimum 21 years of age. At least 5 years of progressive advancement in Casino Operations, Table Games operations preferred. Must be willing to work any shift and weekends.Title 31 Requirements and Responsibilities:
Gaming Operation Shift Managers are required to have excellent knowledge of all Title 31 requirements for proper enforcement and compliance.Supervisory Responsibilities:
Oversee the direct supervision of all Shift Managers and Supervisors in the Gaming Department. Responsible for assisting in the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the Gaming Department and its employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be at least 21 years of age and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Maintain awareness of all casino operations activity, with a focus on day-to-day pit operation staffing and table yield strategy. Assist the Director with periodic review casino operations standard operating procedures, table games and card games floor layouts and playing rules and provide process improvement. Skills in effectively communicating, verbal and written information to employees, managers, clients, customers and the general public, including writing reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Skills in developing team members’ knowledge and skills through education, training, and coaching. Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word) and have knowledge of casino operating systems, ATI OASIS preferred. Must have basic computer aptitude, demonstrate excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and customer service skills. Must show the ability to work under team management approach.Education and/or Experience:
A minimum of an Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. A Bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.) is preferred. A minimum of minimum of five years’ experience in a comparable Casinos Operations leadership position; or equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for educational requirements.
