Casino Shuttle Driver

Start Rate: $15.00/hour | Full-Time | Night shift | Days Variable

Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Shuttle Driver picks up and drops off guests at their car or a designated area and transports them to and from the Casino/Hotel. You will report to the Shuttle or Tours & Travel Supervisor.

Primary Tasks:

1. You will comprehend and abide by all traffic regulations while transporting guests to and from their designation.

2. Load/unload passenger luggage or cargo. Ensure passengers ride safely. Assist, if needed, to customers when exiting or entering the vehicle.

3. You will follow established traffic or transportation procedures including the use of a two-way radio for communication with other drivers, security, and management.

4. Greet customers; Maintain a high level of personal hygiene and personal appearance.

5. You will perform routine vehicle maintenance such as regulating tire pressure and adding gasoline, oil, and water. Vacuum and clean interiors, and wash and polish exteriors of vehicles.

6. Test vehicle equipment such as lights, brakes, horns, and windshield wipers, to ensure operation. Notify management of vehicle problems.

7. You will immediately remove or report any obstructions or hazards on Casino grounds/parking lot such as harmful objects, large items, or any other item that could cause damage to vehicles or cause injury to customers.

8. Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Manager.

9. You will park in designated areas; look out for and report any suspicious activity.

10. Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements:

· Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required (no serious traffic violations)

· Presence on property through safe and aware driving practices

· Valid commercial driver license (CDL) if operating a vehicle designed to transport 16 or more passengers (including the driver). 

· Knowledge of defensive driving techniques
