Job Summary:

This role will serve as the corporate expert in all molten metal processes (casting, melting, and recycling) for the global network of conventional and aluminum-lithium casthouses  They will be responsible for developing and implementing best practices in the casting and melting/recycling areas. This includes benchmarking internal and external casting operations and keeping abreast of developed technologies in the market.  The role will be the principal troubleshooter for complex problems that cannot be solved by the locations resources or issues that have a system-wide impact in the casthouse.  The role will be responsible for training and development of both operators and other technologists, and to leave a legacy of experts inside of the casting space.  Travel Required: 25-50%
