**Casting Operator** **Location: Portland, OR** **Pay: $20 per hour** Are you ready to join a global aerospace manufacturer and contribute to the production of high-quality housing cases for electronic assemblies? We are looking for a dedicated Casting Operator to join our team! **Responsibilities:** + Assist in building housing cases used to protect electronic assemblies from extreme vibrations and temperature changes while on airplanes at various altitudes. + Operate mold machines to create molds for parts to be placed in for casting. + Operate ovens to cure molds and follow work instructions. + Use hand tools and prep parts to be moved to the next step in the production process. **Qualifications:** + Experience working in manufacturing or production is required. + Must be able to read and understand English to learn how to read manufacturing instructions and drawings. + On-the-job training provided. **Environment / Shift:** + Work in a clean, quiet, and organized high-tech environment with workbench/workstations. + Swing shift: 11:00am - 9:00pm, Monday through Thursday (can adjust to 12:00pm - 10:00pm). + Training on a day shift from 6:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday. + Voluntary overtime offered on Friday and Saturday. **Employee Value Proposition:** + Join a global aerospace manufacturer with a full benefits package when hired direct. + Enjoy a medium-sized company atmosphere where everyone knows each other, providing a family feel despite being owned by a large corporation. + Work in a clean, quiet, and organized environment. + Flexibility with hours and willingness to work with employees when they need time. + Qualified candidates can interview within 24 hours with the potential to start the following week.
