Central Carolina Physician Practices along with Duke LifePoint are seeking a passionate Medical Office Receptionist to work at our Sandhills Family Care Practice. With more than 120 physicians and more than 500 employees, the hospital offers a wide range of specialties. Central Carolina Hospital is nestled in the heart of central North Carolina and is located only 40 minutes southwest of Raleigh, the state capital, and just 40 minutes from the gates of Fort Liberty Military base.

Position Summary:

Provides patient care to include but not limited to, vital signs, EKG, Oxygen Therapy, apply, adjust and remove
casting, instruct patient in proper care of cast and splints, including walking with casts and boots, and change
dressing for wound care. 

Essential Functions:

1. Instruct patient in proper care of cast and splints, including walking with casts and boots
2. Apply, adjust and remove casting
3. Record vital signs
4. Document and report abnormal findings or changes in patient condition
5. Assist nurse/medical assistant as needed
6. Answer phones
7. Clean and stock exam rooms
8. EMR documentation of services provided
9. Adhere to established clinic/office policy and procedure directives
10. Perform other duties as required

Required:

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
NC CNA License required
