We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Porter to join the team at Crowne Plaza Hobart. As a Porter you will be responsible for providing excellent luggage services to our guests, ensuring a smooth and pleasant check-in and check-out experience. **Your day to day** It’s a physical role and you’ll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important Strength –with occasional lifting of items up to 23 kilograms and or push/pulling heavy objects Communication skills -guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guest leaves with great memories Fluency in the local language -extra language skills would be great, but not essential Literate –good level of reading, writing, math and computers Drivers License –Full Australian license and the experience and confidence to safely valet park our guests’ cars **What you can expect from us:** We give our people everything they need to succeed.
