About the job:

In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; the Speech-Language Pathologist will provide diagnostic and therapeutic speech pathology services to children and adults on an inpatient and outpatient basis.

What you'll do:

Provides prompt patient evaluations, screenings, and follow-up sessions or phone calls in the management of communication cognitive and/or swallowing disorders.Maintains documentation on all sessions, meetings and contacts in the patient's charts and records all chargeable visits in the patient billing cards.Communicates with other health care professionals on patient-related matters, including patient treatment, safety issues, and discharge planning/continuity of care.Informs supervisor of all routine/unusual information or interactions affecting department operations and patient care and advises on technical/clinical matters.Participates in performance improvement activities and contributes to development of new programs/protocols.Recommends needed supplies and materials and maintains standard care of all equipment.Oversees and evaluates affiliating students.Utilizes effective organizational and time management skills.Promotes customer service to health care providers, patients, families, and community agencies

What we're looking for:

Education: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.Licensure / Certification: Current State of Ohio License in Speech-Language Pathology.Experience: Prefer one year experience.Effective Communication Skills.Ability to function in a professional capacity with minimal supervision.
