Casualty Broker, National Brokerage Team

As part of the National Casualty Practice within the National Brokerage Team, you will be an important part of insurer & wholesale relationship management, while negotiating, placing, designing and, presenting Casualty programs for clients and prospects nationally.

Primary Responsibilities & Duties:

Support Risk Strategies Regions and Industry Practices as a national resource in the placement of new and renewal Casualty programsBe a leader in casualty market knowledge and insurer appetitesRepresent Risk Strategies Company in the market by attending insurer meetings, presentations and other industry related functionsPrepare regular market conditions report, blogs or specific articlesEducate and advise fellow team members on coverage issues, markets, and related developmentsSupport local teams in the preparation of marketplace insurance submissions, help coordinate and conduct market meetings and negotiations as appropriateAnalyze and compare insurer coverage forms, finding opportunities for improvement or created manuscript formsThorough analysis of domestic casualty risk transfer programs to include detailed coverage and cost analysis working in collaboration with our Risk Management Group


Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent years of industry experienceProperty and Casualty Brokers License is required or ability to acquire one after hireMiddle Market account casualty broker with 3-5+ years of experience working on casualty placements – primary and excessAn understanding of and relationships with insurance company management and underwriting teams/personnelParticipation on new business opportunitiesExperience as a domestic casualty broker with a solid understanding of loss sensitive programs including collateralized programs preferred
