The Broker is responsible for the daily servicing of a portfolio of Fortune 1000 clients within the Casualty practice. The Broker provides service & advice associated with placements made or delivered to clients and is involved in negotiations with insurance & risk markets to obtain best terms, conditions, coverage and pricing for a client per risk practice guidelines.

Placements of Casualty related insurance programs into the Bermuda market for Fortune 1000 or similar clientsClient needs, including assessing & developing solutions to complex risk situationsIdentification and development of new sources of businessStrategy and the co-ordination of such with other Marsh Offices globally Analyzing of client exposures and preparation of high-quality submissions to underwritersBenchmarking and data analytics to assist new salesPolicy management including follow up for policies, review of policy against bound terms & conditions, request for corrections, if any and delivery of reviewed policy to Distribution for delivery to clientOperating with a high degree of personal responsibility and accountability for the maintenance of a portfolio of clients Keeping abreast of changing risk and insurance market conditionsBenchmarks and analyzes new salesWorks as a senior member of a team and acts as a role model for less experienced colleaguesWhat you need to have:
A minimum of 10 years of relevant casualty experience in Bermuda or the International insurance market, with recent insurance broking experience specific to the Construction industryProven experience to independently handle complex client assignments operating with a high degree of personal responsibility and accountability Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload and manage such during busy periodsWillingness and ability to work beyond normal office hours to meet tight deadlinesSuperior technical, financial and interpersonal skills, specifically regards written and verbal communication and presentationUnderstanding of negotiating techniques & ability to apply these in discussions with insurers and clientsWhat makes you stand out?
