USA | Salary | Full Time Torden is seeking qualified Spanish linguists for positions on US Naval Station, Guantanamo Bay (GTMO).Requirements: + Interpretation and translation Proficiency in Spanish to/from English + Speaking, listening, reading comprehension ILR must meet 3 minimum in Spanish and 2+ in English + Demonstrated ability to conduct accurate translation, transcription, and interpretation + Must have typing and computer skills + Must be able to think quickly and work in a professional atmosphere as part of a team + Ability to understand the essentials of all speech in a standard dialect and have broad vocabulary to rarely require assistance for paraphrasing or explanation. + Ability to follow accurately the essentials of conversations between native speakers + Ability to understand radio broadcasts, news stories similar to wire service reports, oral reports, some oral technical reports, and public addresses on non-technical subjects. + Due to location of assignment, must meet medical and dental screening requirements as well as immunizations up to date Security Requirements: + All candidates must have a valid U.S. Government Counterintelligence (CI) screening within 12 months + U.S. Citizenship
