Position Summary:

The 3D CT Technologist manipulates digital CT medical images on highly sophisticated 3D workstations in multiple planes and dimensions for clinical visualization and quantitative analysis of diagnostic and interventional studies.

 

Reports to: Director-Radiology


Required Licenses

• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R,CT) required or registered

in CT within 3 months of hire.

• Certified in the State of Kentucky as a Radiation Operator required.

Minimum Work Experience

Minium of 3 years of experience in CT required.One year of CT image reconstructions including 3D renderings experience preferred.

Certifications:

• Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of employment.

Required Skills:

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Language Skills:

Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
