Catastrophe Management Professional

Our UK Catastrophe Advisory and Strategy team is seeking candidates for the following position based in the London office.

This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

Be exposed to many clients and reinsurers.

Become familiar with working with our clients to advise and develop their view of risk. Work within a dynamic multi-disciplinary team.

Contribute to the team by bringing their own unique experience and perspective on catastrophe analytics.

Perform multi-model analysis (RMS/Verisk/JBA/GC Internal models).

Produce, interpret, validate, and analyse catastrophe model output.

Correctly interpret and communicate exposure data and loss analysis findings to brokers, clients, and reinsurers.

Work on client renewals and tenders for new business.

What you need to have:

A degree in a numerate or science/hazard-related subject.

Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.

Strong proficiency in IT skills.

Exceptional communication and organisational abilities.

What makes you stand out?

Previous experience in catastrophe modelling is desirable,

Experience working with multi-model catastrophe models (RMS/Verisk/JBA),

Knowledge of programming languages (SQL/Python/R),

Familiarity with PowerBI or Alteryx, and

Knowledge of reinsurance market and concepts.
