Category Analyst- OPSM

Our Category Analyst is essential to the success of EssilorLuxottica's retail channel management. This role is perfect for someone who excels in tackling the complexities of assortment and range selection, product forecasting, pricing, and new product launches, while also engaging effectively with stakeholders. Working closely with our Category Management team, the Category Analyst will develop and implement strategies aimed at increasing sales and driving profit growth in our Optical retail landscape.

 

Requirements for Success: 

Supporting the implementation of category plans through quality reporting and data analytics. Assisting the development of category analysis and actionable insights that support key category decisions. Supporting the delivery of effective communication to the global and retail network. Monitoring and analysing sales campaign/promotions through post-mortem reporting. Partnering and aligning with cross-functional and external teams to optimise execution through our Omnichannel. Managing day-to-day administrative and operational functions for the wider team.

 

Skills & Experience 

Bachelor's degree in business, Commerce, Marketing or related field Minimum 2 years of experience in Category Analyst role, or a similar role  Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Prior experience in SAP or Power BI would be highly desirable Strong influencing ability and effective stakeholder management. Effective interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication. Project management & organisational skills Optical experience is advantageous, we can teach you all things optics!
