The Role: 

The Category Assistant will support the Category Team in the growth and profitability of a specific category, whilst having a strong focus on merchandise activities, administrative processes, and data analytics.   This role is in support of the Category Manager- Off Road, parts and tyres.  As such, knowledge of these categories would be an advantage.

Duties include: 

Support all members of the category teamPart CreationsPurchasingInventory updates including product detail, pricing and stock reorder triggersAdminister processes & procedures relating to the categoryCompile reportingAssist with retail and trade promotional builds and ensure deadlines are metAssist with range reviews, introductions, and clearance

About You: 

High level excel skillsRetail experience desirableStrong organisational skills and able to juggle a number of constantly changing prioritiesGood attention to detailExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAble to work effectively without close supervision, with a flexible approachKnowledge of the motorcycle accessory marketplace an advantageStudies in Business Management, Retail Merchandise related fields an advantage
