Your job, as category Buyer R&D and analytical service within our External Manufacturing Procurement will be to ensure the selection of high-quality CDMOs for R&D in alignment with our commercial manufacturing strategy. Main responsibilities:

Develop and execute sourcing strategies ensuring global participation, alignment, and adoptionMarket Analysis, Spend Analysis, RFI/RFP/RFQ, Supplier Evaluation, Contract Negotiation, Risk Management, ComplianceDrive the negotiations with suppliers under your perimeterAlign with Finance and the Business to capture and monitor external budget spends and savingsAssemble successful cross functional teams to develop cost modeling and analytics, evaluate total cost, total savings potential, sourcing options, regulatory/legal/quality impact, and production/operation impact of sourcing opportunitiesDrive and manage change and process efficiencies

About you

Experience: 5+ years' experience in Procurement or related field

Soft and technical skills: 

Knowledge of best-in-class Procurement techniques and processesCompetency in networking across various stakeholders to deliver successful outcomesStrong business acumen and ability to build sustainable business connectivitySolid listening and communication skillsCapability to work in a matrix and complex environmentGood communicator with ability to adapt style and approach according to audienceConsistency of focus upon delivery of outcomes and resultsHigh level of analytical skills and ability to utilize tools/systems accordingly

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences required. Master's Degree in Business Administration or Life Sciences preferred.

Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English
